Pain

Well I have been dealing with more pain added by THERAPY and here recently
it seems everyday I have worse headaches.
I have learned to stop fighting the MIGRAINES ... nothing I can do but try to sleep them off ...
did hear that the gunsmith is doing really well at FRIENDSHIP.
Be nice if he repaid the 1600 dollars he owes me ...

Long needles

Well they took some long needles today and played in my lower back.

Path

Life's path can take many turns and directions and as we travel we meet people and sometimes make friends. I have found the best judge of a man to be his actions and not the words you hear him speak.
Recently had the chance to prove this theory right once again.
Again and again this man made promises he evidently intended not to keep and
was not even mann enough to apologize or offer an excuse.
Actions do prove the person.

My EX friend

... and after conversations with multiple people involved with the RIFLE GIFT to the fallen HERO. He can have fun paying for lawyers and facing charges of fraud.
He accepted alot of MONEY and has offered no explanation for his short comings.
Took a loan from me and continues to make excuses on the repayment of that loan.
God Bless Tony and his widow Rose and may they be blessed in this world that forgets their fallen heros.

I asked Tony once what all he got after 9/11. Just his disability 2/3 rds pay.
Nothing from the RED CROSS or any other company that took DONATIONS.
All he got was what he was due as an injured fireman ... not as a hero.
Americans gave billions in support and he never saw a penny of it.
and now thanks to the gun builder in DILLSBORO ... his family will not see
the flintlock rifle he dreamed of before his death. The one he never saw !

My Friend

I failed to mention yesterday.
My fireman friend Anthony Santamarina was a New York City Fireman EMT
hurt so severly at the towers during 9/11 that he was immediately retired.
He told me one night that he had been cut so bad , in so many places
received so many stitches , damage to his body lungs etc.
He died the fall of 2008.
After 9/11 he tried to enjoy life. Tried.
I can somehow connect now with how it feels living each day in pain
not being able to do what you want.
He had days he could not breath and would not venture far from home.
On the internet he reached out to many and became friends with a few.
He will never be forgotten by me. Finding now how easy people forget
yesterdays heros ... yesterdays friends.

Tony's Rifle NYC Fireman

Well I got "told" yesterday that a gunsmith in Dillsboro will not be finishing a flintlock longrifle that was a GROUP GIFT for a now deceased New York City Fireman EMT whom was friends to many of us before his death.
People all over the country have waited for this rifle to be finished so it could be given to Tony's son in Queens New York.
No reason was given for this now ex-friends inability to finish the rifle.
NONE
He somehow thinks he can just pawn off his ISSUES on me and then take his
time paying back the funds paid him in good faith. He cannot repay the tears that fell during Tony's final days and after his death.
To me it was like loosing a brother, a friend ... a part of myself.
Pretty bad when people think they can hide from the eye of GOD and the judgement we all face oneday.

Friends

When friends keep secrets ... they need to thing ahead to the outcome.
When the truth comes out they may no longer be friends.

Well , had to shutdown the PROBOARDS forum before "he" threw the switch ... opened a aimoo.com forum while the "new one" gets built. Seems some of my old staff had plans of their
own. ... if ya come along an old fella along the trail , maybe stitchin on some leather or spittin baccy or even puffin on a fine briar pipe. Be kind to him , HE HAS BEEN THRU ENOUGH.
A word of advice on forums ... aimoo.com allows any of the 1000's of members to walk right into
any forum or group they want... sorta like a huge block party or something. Certainly not my scene.

Well my lil bro has another mouth to feed ... baby boy Chad , healthy and not crawin yet.

Cookie

Been about 17 days now since the wife brought home a poor thrown away dog.

We named her Cookie because well it is the first thing she ate. Tossed out, all 7 lbs of her to wander the 100 degree plus roads till all four feet were burned and sore.

Took days for her feet to heal. Nobody reported her lost anywhere. Autumn the coonhound

has made her her best-test pal ... in the whole wide world.

Seems to be a Rat Terrier, that at one time had been spoiled. She takes to it all too willingly.

Right now beside me taking a napp before she gets up to play again.

Did I mention she will never need another home again.

she has gained about a pound and is white under the dirt ... and she gives kisses n huggs.

Proboards forums

Just wanted to add a feeling towards the forum host PROBOARDS , had about a 2 year relationship suddenly end with them, when they re-wrote their TOS to use it to remove forums
selling or promoting weapons and other stuff.
Watching alot of good people being forced to move on , because they needed to free up some bandwidth.

Well just getting over the three day headache/migraine ... one of the side effects of electrocution.
Puttin a box together for the proffesure. The GIANT smurf got a grab box full of leather working goodies.
Take the time to say a prayer for Daniel the follower of mine. His grandmother is in poor health
fighting a serious staph infection.
Got me some wood spouts needed made up into shot flasks ... an some elk hide needed made into shooting bags.
Had a high temp of 109 degrees here yesterday ... maybe Al was right.
Waiting to see if THE LADY OF THE WOODS stops by ... maybe she wull.

Here I am ... July 24 th 2010

Well here I am and if you stumbled across me , HELLO ... gonna camp here for a spell and maybe do some fishing and work on some leatherwork.
Been juss a few days past the year and a half mark and well , not dead yet.
Figure it gonna take more than a few THOUSAND volts to fry this ole whistle pig dont't ya know.
Gonna hopefully post a picture from time to time and maybe share an outing or adventure
as my health allows.
The dog ya see with me in the pic is Autumn and she be a mite larger now. My buddy n pal and
